2017. What did it bring for you? A fit body, a dream job, a new status in a relationship? What are you most proud of? Improved cooking skills? Or having a baby with a woman/man you love? A trip you’ve finally made?
Personally for me, 2017 was a year of observing the life. You know, it's like being the audience in a cinema. I didn’t do anything productive. I didn’t accomplish anything. Maybe because I simply didn’t set any goals, that would have made me jump out of the bed and work my ass off. I didn't have everyday "to do" lists or even wish-lists. I can’t say that I didn’t enjoy chilling at the lake or reading books at work, walks with my boyfriend or eating homemade food. I loved it! But, I was never unsatisfied with myself more than now. Let’s hope, this fiasco will motivate me to become better in 2018.

THIS YEAR I‘LL REMEMBER FOR:
Event of the year: meeting Him Person of the year: M. Question of the year: Are you getting married? When? Food of the year: noodles in Tamjai Samgor in Hongkong (extremely spicy!) Drink of the year: kvas in Serbia Surprise of the year: LOVE Activity of the year: loving, thinking, trying to find my life mission Place, that impressed the most: Vienna Music of the year: my bf's singing Fun of the year: 4 months vacation Coffee shop: "W cafe" in Bratislava Meeting: with my bf's parents, with my girls, and I finally met 2 great people I've known online for 3 years!

Failure of the year: I didn't go to NY, I didn't leave China Book of the year: Osho "Love. Freedom. Aloneness" Movie: "Paddington" Challenge of the year: personal relationships Lesson of the year: always have "plan B" Trips: Bali (January), February-June (China), August-September (Serbia), Lviv (September), October (Vienna, Bratislava, Brno, Krakow, Lublin), November (Kyiv), December (China)

I am grateful for people I met, for a boyfriend, who was patient with me, parents who weren’t angry, when I didn’t call them, for being healthy, for the job I got (and those I didn’t get), my students, safe flights, new trips, chances to spend time with friends, good food, messages full of love, a nice vacation, warm winter, experiences...for all the happy moments, for all the challenges.
Thank you, 2017!
