A search of life purpose, a break up, thinking about mistakes we made, spending time on my own, asking myself "What's stopping me from living a life of my dreams?" and getting the answers. 2018 brought me what I needed. And I'm sure, it's just the beginning....
January:
holding his hands
thinking about us
making decisions
February:
moved out
a long cold month
"everything ends, even love"
March:
changed an apartment
began to realize that we aren't together any more

April:
painful messages
my first 8km
tried to learn Spanish. Failed.
May: running, exploring, thinking, working
June: visited the most breathtaking places: Yangshuo, Zhangjiajie (Avatar Mountains)

July: A trip to Huizhou.
30's birthday. Being alone. Understanding what I truly want.
August: summer camp in Dongguan. Made a new friend Kate (Катя, привет! Спасибо, что появилась в моей жизни!)
Left China
2 weeks in Ukraine. "What am I doing here?
September: Visited Denmark, Germany, Poland
Ate the best cottage cheese pancakes with a friend

October: a boring autumn in Ukraine
November: 2 sunny weeks in Istanbul. 3 job offers. Lots of Turkish tea. "Should I stay or should I go?"
Left Turkey.
Spent a weekend in Poland.
Everything drastically changed.
Interviews.
Started online teaching.
December: The most productive month
Insight: It's important to have a person, who loves you no matter what.

The best moments: •spending my birthday at the sea •the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen in China •a spontaneous decision to go to Turkey •Euro-trip •hugs
Achievements of the year: •left China •baked my first charlotte •started online teaching •gained confidence when talking to students •getting positive feedback from them •believing in myself more

Inspiring people: Alla Klymenko (happiness coach, co-founder of Upgrade), Marina Mogilko (a founder of Linguatrip and fluentexpress, a blogger), Anna Petrova (an enterpreneur, a founder of Startup Ukraine and other projects).
Books of the year: "Можно все" Даша Пахтусова, "Never stop" М.Карачина, "23 причины любить тебя" Д.Белоконь
Food of the year: Turkish food (om nom nom), pomegranate juice
Place of the year: coffee shops in Istanbul
Quote of the year: Don't listen to what they say, watch what they do.
I thought I'd move to Poland by the end of this year, find a stable job, and have a man who'd ask me to cook (my nightmare!). But the truth is, I don't want any of these things. So let a new story begin!
See you in 2019!
